Thanks for the awesome music guys. You were one of my favourite techno/metal bands of the early 90s and really pushed the limits along with my other favourites The Prodigy, Front 242 and New Order, etc. I've just ordered the DVD video collection on Amazon. Thanks for the great music. How about playing Rock City in Nottingham in 2007. Ashley Irons UK - Friday, December 29, 2006 at 16:24:45 (GMT)

Dude, you were a hero of mine whilst I frittered my college years away back in 89/90 @nospam Crewe & Alsager. A friend introduced me to your music (thanks Chris) Info Freako was blasted out of our recording studio P.A. and our ears have bled ever since (in honour of the music of course) I didn't realise you were still playing, glad to see it still works after all these years! Oh the memories all come flooding back... Carlo Brando Merry 'Ol England - Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 19:52:33 (GMT)

Hey there, I have read your book again, I hope you're doing fine these days! 'Already' is a great album, got it in my car for years and never seem to get tired of it, especially 'Top Of The World' and 'Rails' and 'February'. I have finally convinced my friend from England to buy me a copy of 'London' - it has still a nice JJ mark but I believe more of TB 303 electronics would fit you better ;o) I wrote here some time ago about our band relasing debut album, this time we are working on a second one, still fighting with lack of promo, press and media ignorance and stupid playlists of a local radio stations..but we won't give up, I hope ;o)) Btw there is one of our songs that very probably will end up on album that may recall you some of the great tracks from 'Perverse', we did it as a sort of 'tribute' to JJ (for those who remember), I could send you a mp3 in case you're interested :) Anyway, just another greet from Prague, CZ, have a good time, you've got a fan here ;o) Janne/Lakeside X janne Czech - Sunday, November 05, 2006 at 22:09:12 (GMT)

Dear Mr Jones, I recently found a video of JJ on TOTP approx 15 years ago (I was in the lower 6th then- -now I feel super old) singing "Who am I?" and I just wanted to say that when I was 17, in 1990, I though you were the bees knees. Anyway, my question was, wpould you please consider putting the song on My Space, as I really would like to listen to it again.. Many thanks Bob ENGLAND - Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 02:43:53 (BST)

Hope someone close to band reads this. Was massive fan throughout 90s. Came close to obsession. Never been spoken to by music like I was on Doubt and Perverse before or since. Saw band at Sheffield Octagon in '93 as we all awaited release of "Right Decision" certain it would catapult JJ into rightful position as greatest band in world. Loved how Mike would talk with audience between tracks. Never seen that with other bands. It was like being part of something special. Hope the guys knew that, too! Still listen when I can and always smile when I do. Brings back happy memories. So pleased to hear still together and now hope to bring my collection up to date as don't have anything post-Already. Love to all! Keep the dream alive. Rob Q UK - Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 15:51:22 (BST)

Hello chaps. My beloved was given a copy of "UK Singles Since Forever" (or some such title!) for Christmas and it prompted me to look through and catch up with some of the people I've met and worked with over the years. Fantastic to see that you are still gigging (or were in August, if I've read the website correctly), and I sincerely hope you are all well and happy. I now have absolutely nothing to do with the music business other than to enjoy it's output. I bask, these days, in the sunny (occasionally) climes of Chester, with my husband and two gorgeous daughters. My eldest (9-going-on-19) will absolutely love your albums when I fish them out over the next couple of days, given that she is currently enjoying Kaiser Chiefs and Chilli Peppers. Odd to find her perception of my record collection shifting from "oh MUM!" to "Awesoooome" over the past few months. Anyway, a very happy new year to all of you, we shared some good times that I will always remember, very fondly. Carrie x Carrie Spacey UK - Friday, December 30, 2005 at 00:08:58 (GMT)

I remember seeing the video for Move Mountains on MTV in '90-91. I knew right then that Jesus Jones was going to be an awesome act. I ran-drove actually- the the record store, and picked up a copy of Liquidizer. Soon, I was on my way home with the volume all the way up, the windows down and feeling like this was the beginning of something great, thrashing guitars, samples etc. Much better than grunge or my personal worst enemy-New Kids on the Block. I have not been fortunate enough to be in the right place and at the right time to see Jesus Jones in concert. Liquidizer is my personal favorite. Long Live the Grebos! Hi JJ. Your top tunes have carried me since 1989. Met you at Norwich last time, saw you at Camden, Marquee and The Garage. Have loved your new material but very thirsty for more. I first came to see you Jones Boys at Wembley Stadium as part of the Summer XS Tour, supporting INXS etc.Since then i have managed as often as my liver could take it. I saw you many times in Glasgow, most memorably when supported by Sunsceem. I remember te gig being amazing but little esle after that i suppose. I moved to London shortly after and was fortunate enough to see you, again memorably, at the Marquee circa 1993. A lot of ill advised, reverse stage diving took place by band memebers. I was on my own that night and remember, again, little else post gig. Most recently saw you at the Cathouse in Glasgow, on the night of The European Cup final @nospam Hamden park. Unfortunately. not to many people there to witness yet another great show. And again with the excessive drinking thing. I should sue you for a new liver. What i'm trying to say is that thanks to you i have had some amazing nights, pre, mid and post your gigs and looking forward to another one at the Garage on Thursd!ay. I am now 35 so i really should no better. Probably not though. All the very best and thanks. Oh and don't ever pack it in. Danny Gibson UK - Monday, August 01, 2005 at 08:50:14 (EDT)

Hello. Saw you guys play at the Birmingham Academy last year or the year before (can't remember exactly when due to the alcohol intake during and since the gig). Bloody cracking night! Me and my mate were in the middle of the front row getting killed by big, scary men, but we loved every minute. When you going to play there again?! We saw Mike in the little bar next door, but were too scared to talk to him and we now regret not taking the chance to have a natter. To be fair, it is very good luck for Mike that we didn't, as we had had rather alot of wine and were challenging each other to touch him - which could have led to unfortunate court action and restraining orders! Oh well. Keep up the good work chaps!Kate England - Sunday, September 19, 2004 at 19:00:48 (EDT)
I've never met you (halfway through typing that thought someone will checkle at the non-intentional in-joke) but have enjoyed your music, both recorded and live for a while now. Recorded since hearing Info Sicko the day it was released (a friend's brother bought it) and live 1st at Reading 90. Still listen to all the albums, still see you live when I can (last time at Rock City Nottingham). Mike,I just wanted to thank you for everything you and the rest of the band have ever done. I've been slowly fighting my way through life, helped through immensely at times by your first three albums, and have been trying to catch up for several months... Only lacking London at this point... plus replacing all my old cassettes!!I was actually moved to tears several times recently listening to some of the older stuff, like Blissed. Having finally gotten Already, I've been working my way through it, and am more impressed with every time through, this time I was wiping tears from my eyes as I listened to For A Moment... Thank you seems a pathetic understatement of my gratitude for your continuing to exist. I hope Jesus Jones will continue to bring forth new music, and hopefully, hit LA or So Cal again someday so I can actually go SEE you guys play. Keep it up!!!

You guys rock! I worked at my college radio station in Philadelphia in 1990 and came by "Doubt" just by grabbing it off the shelf randomly. At the time, the album wasnt getting much airtime on commercial radio stations. I scored 2 free tickets from my radio station to your concert in Philly, but couldnt find a person who wanted to go as no-one knew of you. Two to three months later, when all your songs were on commercial stations, all my friends were kicking themselves. For 14 years now, Doubt has remained one of my favorite albums. Really impressed with the new EP. at first i thought it was a bit rawk'n'roll but now i love it. I reckon "Find the dial" is a blast and "Culture vulture" and "Head in the sand" are also just as strong and would easily be album worthy. "Halfway house" is good too and closes the EP well. It was a while waiting for this little spinny plastic beast but its been worth the wait.

Hi everybody!I'm reading Mike's book and it's great to read about all the things that can happen to you when you just want to make your dreams come true ;o)I have a band here in Czechia which is now about to release the debut-album on an independent label and i feel the same tension and heartbeat as JJ did when they got their first feedback on their music and they started to feel that something is happening..I have to say that Jesus Jones was (and still is) the band that influenced my life a lot and for me and rest of my band, "Perverse" is one of the greatest album of the 90's..I'm glad that JJ are still playing, although "the halucination of the masses" doesn't work anymore in the early 00's ;o) - for me, they're one of the most influential music around and I'm still curious about their new production..Keep going lads! I'd like to see you playing live here in Prague,CZ!! ;o)Janne/www.lakesidechurch.cz

WOW! I have never before in my life been so influenced by music like yours. Jesus Jones had a profound effect on me in my youth. I still remember the excitement and giddiness of buying your CD every time a new one was released. I saw you play in Winnipeg with Ned's Atomic Dustbin. It was a great show. Do you think you might ever make your way through Winnipeg agian someday? :) I know it is a longshot, but I have to ask!Thank you for the incredible music and memories, I truly hope you can give me many more!!

I remember when "Right Here Right Now" became a big hit, I was about 14, while I liked the song as well as the other singles from the cd(Real,Real,Real, International Bright Young Thing) I didn't pay much attention after that. Since that time, I have become a musician, and a more devoted music fan. I bought the Liquidizer cd used about 2 years ago, and fell in love with it!! I then picked up the Perverse cd, again, being blown away by it. I have grown to really admire and respect the music this band creates. An awsome blend of melodic pop rock, Dance and techno. Mike you have an incredible sense of melody, and a knac for writing big hooks. So glad to see you guys still here and making awsome music. Thanks for the influence and inspiration!

I remember jesus jones in Hollywood. They played the Paladium and the Roxy. I walked out drenched in sweat and so happy. They have influenced my life a lot! I like to listen to them while snowboarding here in northern california.

Dear Jesus Jones! Just accept my greetings as I feel really happy that you are still playing. You were the first record -Liquidizer- I ever bought from British indie scene. It was in Passau, D in summer 1991 - and I should add I was twelve years old! When I first listened to Info Freako (I put a wrong side of LP on a turntable) I was totally overwhelmed but it took me a few days to get into it really - since then all things changed - I listened to this LP over and over again and I tel you I haw only a few records which were so impressive and unforgetable. I can still remember those sunny August mornings when I woke had breakfast and went outon a bike with Liquidizer in my ears...And no doubt about Doubt. Maybe you're all in a studio preparing some cool stuff which can again change someone's mind at the age of his/her twelve. Stay as much creative as possible. Rgds, Martin, Svitavy, CzechiaPS. Mike, my mum always liked your eyes - she always said you looked like a real Jesus...

G'Day JJ,love the live DVD, awesome show!Love the changes of sound and some structures from the recordings of the albums since all were slightly different(the rawness of Liquidiser to the sonic dense of Perverse and sheen of London).the interview was really interesting and a good laugh.Hope the ep is going well, looking forward to that too and if you're coming to Japan ,Australia is only a 'quick' 10 hour flight away!Take it easy,Gaz.

Althoug 30 now, I remember being 17 years of age and sneaking into your gig at SELENAS in Sydney some 13 odd years ago. I think an Aussie band called Caligula were your support. You were fantastic and I remember you ending your encore with "BLISSED" - "I Bliss You .... and you....". To me, you became GODS that night. I'm now working at a major record company in Australia as a product manager because of how you guys influenced me that night.I would dearly love for you to return to Australia as I know you would have an army of fans that would come to see you again. From those stussy wearing / skateboarding influenced days to what you guys are doing now - for me you'll always be the reason why people have a passion for music - you have the ability to take people from their reality to a place where they become untouchable - a higher state of being perhaps. (I know that sounds corny, but it's the best desciption I can use at midnight)Here's to JJ writing more music, experimenting with sounds/samples and technology, and doing what you do best - entertaining the "BEJESUS" out of your fans and generations to come.
