ROBBIE RIVERA VS JESUS JONES RIGHT HERE

Press Release -

‘Right Here’

(Original / Matteo ESSE & Sant / Deepgroove Mixes)

LABEL: Nebula

REL: 24th October

F*ck the 80's let's carve up the 90's...
Robbie Rivera arrives at Nebula with a bang with his soon to be massive Jesus Jones sampling ‘Right Here’.

Robbie's talent is recognized across the music industry having remixed everyone from Faithless, Felix Da Housecat, Moloko and Sinead
O'Connor to Madonna, Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue and recently Basement Jaxx... to name an illustrious few!!!

Robbie also produces from his Miami based studio for his own label Juicy Music with it’s pounding, sexy house feel.

‘Right Here’ draws on the classic bass heavy house Rivera sound combined with a killer sample from 90's skater-pop-rockers Jesus
Jones who hit the UK no.1 spot with there album Doubt, that featured Right Here, Right Now, going gold overnight, the single hitting no.2 in
the USA and the album selling over a million copies.

On remix duty is Matteo ESSE & Sant from Italy whose recent remix credits include Armand van Helden and Basement Jaxx, with a more
melodic house work out that retains the energy of the original but adds a sunshine feel.

Hot UK outfit Deepgroove have also been drafted in to remix Right Here and deliver their own electro tinged, driving bass rub.

Jesus Jones are now signed to Primary Talent , who are one of the biggest agents in the UK which will hopefully mean more UK gigs in the future.

SHOP INFORMATION

We've linked to a new shop at Amazon. Check it out here.

TONYS' OTHER BAND

To keep his arms strong between jones gigs, his internal metronome ticking and his love of emo/hardcore alive, Tony is also playing drums for a new band called Iodine. Iodine also features Ashley Bird from Kerrang magazine and Justin Rowe from The Lucky Nine (www.theluckynine.com).

Iodine's first tour was opening for Hell Is For Heroes last November and they will be touring again with Million Dead this April/May, with their own shows inbetween.

Check out www.iodinerock.com for more info, mp3s, tour dates, merch and the usual music websitery...

EP CULTURE VULTURE

The 4 track “Culture vulture” EP was released on May 17th through MI5 Recordings UK. You can buy it in stores in the UK. A sneak preview of the lead track can be heard here. The other tracks are Head in the Sand, Find the Dial and Halfway House. Remixes submitted by fans can be found here.

MORE FLINGFLANG PROJECTS

Two more SHEsongs tracks have been added to the Flingflang site - Dirty Music and Boom Boom.

Two tracks of Beepman and Rhodes have been added to the Flingflang site - Love Me and Don't Get Me Wrong.

Beepman and Rhodes - "Two songwriters and musicians, one with a taste for Fender’s classic piano sound of the 70’s, one obsessed with electronic musical trickery, both with a love and skill for writing great Pop songs. The bob-a-job men of musical creativity, both artists and craftsmen, if you’ve got a sound and a song you need they’ll knock it up good and proper."

Oojah is the other Flingflang project; another post-Yoshi project featuring SHEsongs and Yoshi songwriting partner Ben Hackett have an EPs worth of songs online. With co-writer and singer Vicky Taylor Roberts they have written and produced two songs, After All These Years and Living Without You Baby.
A third song, Queen and King should follow once it is mixed.

Oojah’s music is quite different to the SHEsongs EP, much less pop and more of a “band” effort.

Also available is an Oojah remix of Vicky’s You’ll never know, taken from her solo album which you can find more about here (www.wistfulrecords.co.uk).

YOUR CHANCE TO REMIX

As well as the four songs the EP comes with audio files for each instrument in “Culture Vulture”, and a chance to remix the song the way you want - or just to hear what each band member does throughout. For more details see the Remix page.

SECRET LIVE DVD

The live DVD fimed at the Marquee in London at the end of 2002 was released in the UK on the 15th of September, 2003 by Secret Records. The band were filmed doing a one and a half hour set, and a lengthy interview. You can purchase the dvd at Amazon, Play and many other retailers. It lasts 2 1/2 hours, has 25 tracks and 2 interviews, all exclusive. However, the DVD IS region specific, which unfortunately means that it isnât suitable for US television systems. Secret are apparently seeking distribution in the US but until that is sorted US fans will ony be able to play the DVD on computers. If we get any news on this weâll let you know
