Thanks to everyone who came to the gigs, it was amazing, and we had a great
time. Lots of familiar faces in the crowd, and the shows were among the best
we’ve ever done.
Doing these gigs has definitely given us the hunger – we can’t
wait to do more! The schedule was quite hectic (4 gigs, in 2 countries, in 5 days,
with an overnight international flight in middle, and 3 domestic flights too!)
and it’s a wonder we managed it – maybe touring keeps you feeling young?
We also made sure we tweaked the set a little, playing “Blissed” for the first time in
20 years, and resurrecting “Get A Good Thing” which had previously only been
played on the “Perverse” tour back in 1993. We’re not sure why we dropped it
from the set in the first place; it was one of our absolute favourite moments of
the shows…
Personally, this tour was the most friendly and relaxed we’ve done for years
– partially this was down to the sheer professionalism of the local crew in
Australia and Japan, but also due to the fact that all of us were so excited to be
back on the road again. Everyone seemed intent on just enjoying every second
of the experience. It was great being with The Stuffies too.
As we sat in the van driving back from the Sydney gig, with Dan Lia, our fantastic soundman, we were already hatching plans to return to Australia again…
So, it’s been a long time coming, and it’s taken some organisation and tweaking – but the US tour is now BACK ON AGAIN! We will return to the US and Canada at the end of March 2024, and the tour carries over into the beginning of April. Where possible, we’ve endeavoured to keep the […]
