So, as you should be aware (if you check all of our updates!) The Collection will be released by EMI, physically and digitally, from the first week in August. the retail price for this will range from £5 to £8, depending on where you get a copy from, and what sort of power the retailer has to bulk-order and offer goods at a discount to the consumer.
As a band, the relatively high unit price we paid for the initial batch of CD’s meant that we had to offer them to all of you around the price we set, which was £10. We decided to make sure it was a good deal for our fans to buy from us by personally signing every single copy. This is going to continue. We still have stock left (though this stock is extremely limited)- and once those copies have gone – that’s it: they will be the only signed copies of The Collection available for purchase.
We know it’s a tough time out there financially – like all of you, we’re watching every penny too. We’d just like to say you’re absolutely free to get our product from wherever you choose, and at whatever price you wish to pay. Just having fans who still want to buy our stuff after all these years is fantastic!
So, we’d like to assure you all that any profits we do make from copies of the album bought from us are ploughed back into the band. They’ll help us continue as a band, as well as with the costs of touring, recording, and all further projects.
Cheers everyone
