Jesus Jones have great regret in announcing the postponement of their
forthcoming shows in Birmingham and London on November 1 & 2.
Bass player Alan Doughty was forced to undergo emergency surgery last
week following an injury at his home in America.
Singer Mike Edwards explains : “Although Al’s recovering he’s still in
a lot of pain. There’s no way he can travel and play right now. It’s
been a tough decision to postpone the dates because we realise that
people have been looking forward to the shows – we have too. We hope
it doesn’t mess people’s plans up too much and can’t wait to play
these shows as soon as Alan is OK again.”
h2. Rescheduled dates
Friday 27 Jan – Temple, Institute Birmingham
Saturday 28 Jan – Islington Academy London.
Original tickets WILL be valid for the shows, though refunds are available from point of purchase.
We hope to see you all in about 12 weeks!
So, hopefully, you’ll have seen by now that we have reissued our Japanese-only compilation album “Scratched”, on vinyl, for the first time. It’s two pieces of heavyweight vinyl, marbled blue and yellow – so it matches the artwork. Speaking of artwork – we got the original designer Stylorouge to redo all of the design, and bring it up to date. It’s as faithful as we could have made it, to what came out in the 1990s. Totally chuffed with how it looks – and for those of you who have a copy – just look at it, it’s ace!
